Joseph W. Parworth, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life Thursday, October 5, 2023 with his son by his side.

Joseph retired with Eck Industries after 37 years of hard work and dedication. Joe was a perfectionist and a master in analytical thinking which served him well in his 35 years as a supervisor at Eck. On September 21, 1961, he married the love of his life Marion E. (Langley) Parworth. Joseph loved to hunt and fish. He especially enjoyed spending time at their cottage in Silver Cliff that his wife designed and Joe built. Joe volunteered for 4 years driving rescue squad in Silver Cliff. Joe had a passion for restoring old vehicles such as his Willy Jeeps and his 65 Ford Gallaxy. Joe, his wife, brother, and sister-in-law enjoyed taking long rides on their Harleys around Wisconsin.

Joseph is survived by his son: Darrel Parworth, Silver Cliff; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three brothers: Christopher Parworth, Manitowoc, Eugene Parworth, Shady Lane, and Tim and Judy Parworth, Waukesha; and one sister: Sally McGlin, Two Rivers. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his loving wife: Marion Parworth; daughter: Jody Parworth; sister: Sylvia McGlin; sister-in-law: Janice Parworth; brothers-in-law: Ed and Kenny McGlin; and parents: Josephine (Tadych) Parworth and Eugene Parworth Sr.

Cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory, Manitowoc, and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, 628 North Water Street, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Cherie Forret. Following the service, Joe will be laid to rest at St. Peter Cemetery, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
