William Weikle, 63, Of Near Forsyth, Dies
William David Weikle, 63, died at 9:10 a.m. Thursday at his home two miles west of Forsyth.
He was born June 17, 1883, in Hickory Point Township, the son of Frank and Matilda Houser Weikle, and had spent all his life in that township.
He married Leota Hutson, Oct. 19, 1907, in Decatur.
Besides his wife, Mr. Weikle leaves a daughter, Mrs. Gus Fyke, of rural route 8, a son, Paul of near Maroa, and two brothers, Herman of Decatur, and Merideth, of Sangamon. There are three grandchildren. Two daughters, two sisters and a brother preceded him in death.
Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home with burial in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after noon today.
