Mary Frances (Pat) Tomchesson, age 89, of Woodway, TX, passed away peacefully on the fifth of February 2023, at The Delaney at Lake Waco.

Rosary will be 11:30 am; visitation will be 12 pm, followed by Mass at 12:30 pm, Thursday, February 9, at St. Jerome Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Mausoleum in Bremond, TX.

Pat was born on August 23rd, 1933, to Jay and Oma Pruitt in Bremond, TX.

She was a graduate of Bremond High School, and moved to Waco in 1950 to attend 4C Business College.

She married Fred Tomchesson on September 22nd, 1951, where they then lived for 73 years and raised three children.

After graduation she went to work for A. N. Denton Cotton Company. After a break from raising her children, she re-entered the workforce at Central Freight Lines and remained there until her retirement in 1988.

Pat was a faithful Catholic who enjoyed cross stitching, solving crossword puzzles, working with her flowers, reading, and walks in the neighborhood. She was the best Mom, mother-in-law and Nanny who always showed her love for family with her Sunday lunches and her special Holiday baking.

She was preceded in death by her parents; devoted husband, Fred of 66 yrs.; brother, John Pruitt; sisters, Dan Ables and Marjorie Faulk; daughter, Gale Heubach; and devoted sons-in-law, Mitch Connell and Mike Wardlaw.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Susan Wardlaw; son, Troy and wife, Jenni Tomchesson; son-in-law, Gary Heubach; brother, Zane and wife, Edith Pruitt; sister, Brenice Heiman; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Beatrice and Richard Bielamowicz; grandchildren, Stacy and husband, Stephen Cook, Michelle and husband, Joe Wilson, Michael and wife, Jennifer O'Sullivan, Sean and wife, Tiffany O'Sullivan, Megan Perry, Joseph and wife, Savannah Tomchesson; great-grandchildren, Ryan Cook, Reagan and husband, Steven Adler, Gregory, Travis and Abigale Wilson, Jaxon and Lukas O'Sullivan, Liam and Rowan O'Sullivan, Krystina Haynes and Keegan Perry; and a host of extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank the caregivers and team of The Delaney at Lake Waco, Baylor Scott and White Health, Interim Healthcare and Dr. Shawn Skeen. Memorials can be made to Interim Hospice, St. Jerome Catholic Church or charity of your choice.
