Albert Gerard "Al" Joseph Beaudoin, of Trenton, passed away at his home on Friday, October 13, 2023.
Al was born on July 26, 1933 in Sanford, Maine. He led a hardworking life, providing for his family until his retirement from Sherman and Reilly as a machinist and from Georgia Power as a janitor. He also served on the U.S.S Yorktown during the Korean War. Al was a well-loved man who worked tirelessly. He was proud of his children and had a love of horses, fishing, and woodworking.

Al is survived by his wife Claudie York Beaudoin; one brother; Robert (Bobby) Beaudoin, son Steve Beaudoin (Violet); daughter Tammy Beaudoin Davenport (Tom); sons William (Bill) Guffey, Ed Guffey (Carol), Jimmy Klitzkie (April) and daughter Vicki Klitzkie Bragg; grandchildren Tyce Beaudoin (Kaylan), Chris Davenport (Jordan), Tristan Davenport, Michael Guffey (LeeAnne), Matthew Guffey, Kevin Guffey, Chris Guffey (Bethany), Cassidy Klitzkie, Courtney Smith (Cody), Jarrett Davis, Crystal Poe and 20 great grandchildren.

Al was preceded in death by his parents Wilbrod and Marie Beaudoin; his wife Virginia Gass Beaudoin; a special aunt Helen Beaudoin Scott, his son Richard Arville Guffey; and his granddaughter Karina Guffey Cotter.

Family and friends are invited to honor the memory of Al at a visitation on Sunday, October 15, from 1:00-5:00pm. The service will be held Monday at 1:00pm in the chapel at Ryan's Funeral Home in Trenton, GA. Interment will be in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens. Expressions of condolences to the family or other wishes can be made at this time.
