Joan Elizabeth Cunningham Compton of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Ashley Tinaglia and husband, David; her sister, Sandy Shapiro (Gordon); niece, Lyndsey Reynolds; and nephew, Drayton Reynolds (Gabby) and their children, Brooks and Hampton; and her beloved dog, Marley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Burl Compton; son, Steven Compton; parents, Fairless and Ruth Cunningham.
A Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Oakey's South Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Shriner's Children's Hospital.
