John was born August 11, 1932, in Mora, MN., as the youngest of 4 children, with his brother David being his soul-surviving sibling.
After serving in the Air Force s a radio operator during the Korean War, John entered the workforce and eventually, he was employed by Sunshine Biscuits for 22 years. After retirement, he went to Auctioneer School in Kansas City, MO, in 1980. He worked as a professional auctioneer at Dennis Turmon Enterprises, in Powell Butte, OR, until his 2nd retirement, well into his 80s.
John is survived by his brother David and wife Aleen of Columbus, GA, his daughter Sheryl, granddaughter Jessica and family of Redmond, OR, his son Steven Jacquier, of Alaska, and nephews Rand and Mike Berry of Sacramento, CA.
John will be remembered for his deep kindness to everyone and his embrace of God's greatest gift – LIFE! He will be missed by all whose paths crossed his.
