Beverly Ruth (Iser) Cadwallader, 84, of Miners Avenue, Frostburg died peacefully on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at her daughter's home, Gilmore, MD.
Born on February 20, 1939 in Dawson, MD. She was the daughter of the late Leonard E. Iser Sr. and Bessie (Taylor) Grant, step-mother, Jeanette (Phillips) Iser and step-father, Marshall Grant.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Leon R. Cadwallader, great-grandson, Christopher "Isaac" Kissick, sisters, Maxine McDowell, Naomi Kile, Patricia Bothwell and Tracie Iser and brothers, Walter Iser, Paul Grant, Thomas Grant, and Clifford Grant.
Beverly was employed at Egle Nursing and Rehab Center in the housekeeping department, after leaving the facility she devoted her life to her family.
She is survived by her four children, Lori Matteo, Tina Kissick, Leon "Jody" Cadwallader and wife Rebekah and Michael Cadwallader and wife Carrie; 12 grandchildren, Miranda Cox, Lacey Harris and husband Stewart, Christopher Kissick, Zachary Cadwallader and wife Kaylin, Matthew Kissick and wife Sarah, Nathan Cadwallader, Dakota Kissick, Steven Kissick, James "Jay" Cadwallader, Braylon Cadwallader, Brentley Cadwallader and Briyer Cadwallader and 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bernice Treutle, Betsy Rice, Becki Miller and husband Donnie and Kellie Iser; brothers, Leonard "Lenny" Iser, Gary Grant and Vernon Grant; sisters-in-law, Barbara Hetz and Barbara Cadwallader; brother-in-law, Ronnie Bothwell; former son-in-law, Lynn Kissick and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 5-8 PM at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Midland.
A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 1:00 PM with Deacon Harold Bradley officiating.
Interment will be held at Frostburg Memorial Park, Frostburg.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and honorary pallbearer will be Sylvan Wiland.
The family would like to thank the staff of UPMC Western Maryland Hospice for their kindness and care, and Jennifer Barlow of UPMC Western Maryland Primary Care, Frostburg.
