Our dear mother Judi Petze passed away peacefully on the afternoon of October 16 with her beloved family in her presence. She was 78 years old.

Born in Boston July 31, 1945. Wife of the late James Petze, Judi is survived by her sister Nancy Marshfield, three children Michael Petze, Michelle Petze and Melissa Korhonen, two granddaughters Megan Hubert and Abby McDonnell, son-in-law Teppo Korhonen and daughter-in-law Silvia Gambino.

Growing up in Weymouth, she was a singer in the band the Hi-Fi's where she met her husband James Petze, who was the guitar player for the band the Rondels. She won a speed typing contest and worked for the John Hancock Insurance Company of Boston.

For 47 years she owned Petze Glass, which supplied stained glass products all over the world and internationally, including all of the Christmas Tree Shops. The family moved to Cape Cod in 1979 where the company was located at that time. Later in life Judi moved to Osterville where she resided.

A memorial service to celebrate Judi's life will be held on Saturday October 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, located at 76 Wianno Ave, Osterville, MA 02655.
