Aaron Christopher Burton, 51, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 1:17 pm, Monday, October 23, 2023, in LaFontaine, Indiana. He was born on February 2, 1972, in Wabash, to James and Beverly Sue (Bennett) Burton.

Aaron was a 1990 graduate of Wabash High School. He worked at Wabash County Highway Department for 32 years. Aaron was a Wabash Little League Coach, and umpire for several years. He was a member of the Wabash Men's bowling league, and Men's softball league. Aaron enjoyed coaching and playing softball and baseball, bowling, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by two daughters, Sarah Burton of Wabash, and Kassidy Burton of Peru, Indiana, two grandchildren, Liam Christopher Burton and Emery Lynn Burton, both of Wabash, father, James Burton of Wabash, two sisters, Angel (John) Hostetler and Amanda (Dale) McCord, both of Wabash, brother, Andrew (Amber Denney) Burton of Kokomo, Indiana, several nieces and nephews; Nick (Megan) Hostetler, Devin Hostetler, Austin (Alyssa) Hostetler, Mason (Autumn Housman) Hostetler, Jaci (Andrew) Gahl, A.J. McCord, Alexis (Todd) Burton, Ashtyn Burton, and Dallas Burton, great-nephew, Jayce Hostetler, and great-niece, Mia Hostetler. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Sue Burton, and nephew, Kaemon Burton.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Rev. Nathan Whybrew officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 2:00 - 7:00 pm, Friday, at the funeral home.
