Oldest child of Wilhelmina Meyer b 1844 Prussia d. 1913 Arenzville farm and Frederick Nordsiek, wagon maker.
Mom Wilhelmina "Minnie" Meyer was 3rd living child of Frederick John or John Frederick Meyer b 8 Dec 1805 in Prussia. Married Catherine Maria Burkesikus in Prussia. Fred died 28 Feb 1897. They came to the US in Dec 1848 from Bremen>New Orleans>St. Louis>Beardstown>Arenzville in a 9- week trip.
Mary A.'s sibs: Lizzie Nordsiek Hierman, Emma Nordsiek Kloker, Henry, Lena, Ann and John Nordsiek.
