Mark Thomas Adams, 23, Indianapolis, a native of Peru, died 3:20 a.m. Saturday from injuries suffered in a one-car accident there.
Authorities reported that Adams lost control of his car and struck a guard rail.
Born in Indianapolis, Aug. 28, 1951, he was the son of Thomas E. and M. Jeanne (Pettit) Adams.
He was graduated from Peru High School in 1963 and Indiana State University in 1973. He was employed at Monarch Distribution Company of Indianapolis, and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Peru, the DeMolay and Sigma Pi Fraternity.
Survivors are his parents, of Indianapolis; a sister, Paula Adams, a student at Ball State University; the maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ann Cotton, Indianapolis; and the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Adams, Canton, Ohio.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. H.P. Gaines officiating. Burial will be in the Mr. Hope Cemetery.
