Ferd Logan, 76, died Monday at 7 a.m. in Newton, Kan. He had been coming to Winter Haven for several years and lived here the past year at 149 Ave. B, SW. His former home was in Newton.
He was a retired railroad engineer on the Santa Fe Railroad, a member of the First Baptist Church of Winter Haven, and of the Winter Haven Tourist Club.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Polly Logan; two sons, Robert of Ft. Worth, Tex. and Fredrick of Newton; and five granchildren.
