She worked at Panola General Hospital and area nursing homes. Necia married Buddy Joe Armstrong on July 13, 2002, in Carthage. She was preceded in death by her parents, Speedie Richard Fleetwood and Marie Elvira Steele; step-father, George Grant Steele; daughter, Kimberly Rene Richards; granddaughter, Kellie Henley; grandson, Patrick McNeil; and siblings, Doris Adams, Evelyn Wilkins, and Richard Fleetwood.
