Alva Leroy Goodwin was born January 8th 1935. He passed peacefully, surrounded by his family on Monday, February 20th, 2023.
Alva(Shorty) is survived by his loving wife of 69yrs, Diana, his children, Mark(Linda), Kelly Martinec(George), Todd(Amy), 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and his sister Darlene Thomas (Lonnie).
AL had a passion for gardening and was known for his beautiful dahlias. He was an incredible chef and a meal was always available for any that stopped by.
Shorty was a wonderful husband and father, he was known for his deep faith for his Lord and Savior. He always gave to those who had little and needed more.
