Jo Ann Meshell, 79, of Sainte Genevieve, Missouri, passed away October 30, 2023 at her residence in Sainte Genevieve, MO.
She was born July 9, 1944 in Piggott, AR, daughter of the late Noah Dortch and Ruth Dortch (Pierce).
Jo Ann worked as an Assembly Worker for Westinghouse. In her free time she enjoyed sewing, playing games, especially solitaire on her phone, fishing, and camping.
She was a member of IBEW.
Surviving are sons, Steve Meshell, Jr. of Florissant, MO, and Timothy Meshell of Florissant, MO, daughter, Mary Roth of Sainte Genevieve, MO, sister, Dee Bax of Cottleville, MO, 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, along with numerous family members and dear friends.
Along with her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by husband, Steve Meshell, and brother, Wayne Dortch.
Services will be held at Mahn Funeral Home Twin City Chapel, Festus, Missouri, November 4, 2023 at 12:00 pm.
Friends will be received at Mahn Twin City Chapel, Festus, Missouri Saturday, November 4, 2023, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
