Ida was known for her love of teaching. She was a dedicated teacher and taught High School English and English as a Second Language throughout the Southwest and Internationally. She touched the lives of countless students during her long and fulfilling career.
Ida was a loving mother and grandmother, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her sons, Bryan VanSickle, Andrew, Lane and Loren Goodwin, and her grandchildren, McKay, Avery, Archer and Quinn VanSickle.
Celebration of Life will be held at the Ingalls Community Bible Church on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Noon with Pastor Kevin Hazelton presiding. Private family burial will be at the Cimarron Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Ingalls Community Bible Church in care of Swaim Funeral Chapel.
