JACKSONVILLE - Graveside services for Norris J. ""Sandy" Smith, 72, Jennings, La., formerly of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Thursday at the Myrtle Springs Cemetery in Ponta with the Rev. Randall Birdsong officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Jacksonville.
Mr. Smith died Tuesday in a Jennings, La.,hospital.
He was born Nov. 4, 1922, in Jacksonville and was a retired oil field worker.
Survivors include one son; one niece; and two nephews.
