Binyomin Shmuel (Brian Scott) Edelstone passed away after a sudden illness in Baltimore, Maryland at age 47.

He was a loving husband, beloved father, treasured son, cherished brother, adored uncle, cousin, and nephew, and respected friend and colleague to many people around the world. Binyomin devoted himself to Jewish practice shortly after living in Israel as a young man. He later studied at Aish HaTorah and The Jerusalem Kollel, where he received his rabbinical ordination under the oversight of Rabbi Yitzchak Berkovits. He met and married his wife in Jerusalem in 2002 and went on to have three sons and two daughters.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Binyomin lived with his family in Seattle for many years and then moved to Baltimore in 2015 where he resided at the time of his passing. A reasoned and analytical thinker with a deep love for learning, he enjoyed nothing more than sharing his knowledge of the Torah with his family and community.

While Binyomin left us far too soon, we are comforted by the memories of his compelling life and the legacy he blessed us with. We are certain that we will see him again in the next world.
