Mr. David Michael Messick

December 27, 1951 - November 7, 2023


David Michael Messick, age 71 of Woodstock, MD passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at BridgingLife Hospice in Northwest Hospital in Randallstown. Born December 27, 1951 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Raymond DeSales and Doris Ann (Crouch) Messick. He was the husband of 48 years to Diane Marie Messick. 

David earned an AA in Business Administration from Strayer College in 1972, worked in his family dry cleaning business until 1999, then joined Long and Foster in Columbia, MD as a realtor. He loved spending time with his grandsons and playing dime poker with his friends. His favorite hobby was making people laugh with his collection of stories and jokes. 


In addition to his wife, his survivors include his son, David Messick, Jr. and wife Cally; grandchildren, Braeden and Brooks Messick; siblings, Raymond Messick, Jr. and wife Patricia, Jane Baker and husband Jeffrey, Catherine Weckel and husband George, and Maryfrances Milford and husband Stacy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
