Troy Crawfield Shaw, 88, of Lafayette, Louisiana, died Tuesday, June 26, 2007, in Lafayette. Born February 18, 1919, in Beaudry, Arkansas, to John Robert and Martha Isabel Tillery Shaw, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Alice McGirr of Lafayette; one son and daughter-in-law, Troy, Jr. and Fran Shaw of Chapin, South Carolina; one daughter and her fiance, Sharon S. Myers and Lloyd Smith of Arnaudville, Louisiana; five grandchildren, Joey Myers and his wife, Janine of Estherwood, Mary Alice Prejean of Carencro, Louisiana, Sara Holler of South Carolina, Lori Fleming and her husband, Andy of Charleston, South Carolina, and Troy Shaw, III of Charleston, South Carolina; two great-grandchildren.
