Dora Lee Gutierrez-Ballard, 44, of Comanche, went to be with Lord on Friday May 26, 2017.
She leaves behind her husband of 24 years, Floyd Ballard, their sons, Jason Ballard, Justin Ballard, and Dustin Ballard. She is survived by her brother Felix Gutierrez III, his wife Gilda Gutierrez, sister, Elizabeth Flores and her husband Salvador Flores, and sister, Laura Gutierrez. Her nephews and nieces are Felix Gutierrez IV, Norma Smith, Sandy Gutierrez, No'Amie Flores, Gloria Gutierrez, Eric Gutierrez, and Ember ll Alegna; grandchildren, Korbin Ballard, Cayden Ballard, and Nina Ballard; great nephew, Romeo Flores.
Dora was born and raised in Comanche, TX and was the daughter the late Felix Gutierrez, Jr., and Dominga Gonzales Gutierrez. Dora was a lifelong resident of Comanche, TX.
Dora graduated from Gustine High School in 1991 and married Floyd May 30th 1993.
Dora worked at Comanche Electric Cooperative for 13 years, the local Post Office, Brookshires, and was currently employed with Comanche County Sherriff's Department.
Dora had a passion for going out of way and helping others. She loved putting happiness on others faces. Dora loved animals but had a deep love for her birds. She loved to be constantly be surrounded by her family who she loved tremendously. She always put her children first.
