Arthur E (Ted) Lewis, 81, of 240 N MacArthur Blvd, died at 7:30pm Saturday at St John's Hospital after an illness of five years. He was admitted to the hospital as a medical patient Nov 2.
He was born in Wales the son of John and Polly Morgan. He was a Springfield resident many years.
Mr Lewis is survived by his widow, Bertha; son, Harold; daughter, Mrs Marie Oliver; and grandson, all of Springfield; and a sister, Mrs Lilly Williams of Los Angeles, Calif.
Remains are at Kirlin and Egan Funeral Home. Announcements later.
