Cathy Jean Ames went home on Saturday, April 8, 2023.

Visitation: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, April 17, at Mount Olivet Chapel.
Celebration of Life: 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, at First Church International, 1212 S. Grants Lane, Fort Worth, TX 76108. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery, immediately following the service.

Cathy was a member of First Church International UPCI. She was an LVN and worked in long-term care for fifty years. She also worked as a volunteer chaplain in the Tarrant County Judicial System for over 20 years.

Cathy was preceded in death by her father, William M. Adams; her mother, Pauline A. Moyer; and her sister, Deborah Libertowski.

She is survived by her daughters, Danea Crews and husband, James, of Mansfield, TX, and Donna Dilleshaw of Mansfield, TX; her siblings, Paula Aldridge of Granbury, TX, William Adams Jr. and wife, Sandra, of Burleson, TX, Jeffrey Adams and wife, Christine, of Harrison, Ark.; her grandchildren, James Christian and wife, Destinee, Travis McMullen, Brittany Rivers and husband, Stephen, Tasiah Talbot, Toby Johnston and wife, Mackenzie; six great-grandchildren with one on the way; and a wealth of friends and loved ones.
