Louann Bielmann was born in Buffalo, New York in 1930. She later moved to Norfolk Virginia where she lived out the remainder of a full and vibrant 93 years. On October, 27, 2023, a warm and sunny day laced with a breeze that sent autumn leaves dancing to the ground, Louann left this earth plane for her next adventure. She stayed feisty to the end when she finally let go and peacefully went on ahead.
She leaves behind her husband of 58 years, Donald Bielmann, brothers Bob (Carolyn) and John (Jan), five children, Gregg, Brian, James (Sharon), Kim, and Michael (Corinne), grandchildren Adam, Lauren, Brent, Kendra, Jesse, Tea, Tai, and Collin and grandpuppies Sadie, Peppers, Maizy, and Ralphie. Gone on before her were her infant daughter, Bonnie Sue, and her adult daughter and best friend, Sandra (Gary).
Louann graduated from Kensington High School, retired from JCPenny after decades of dedicated employment, and proudly served her church, Providence Presbyterian, in a variety of capacities, for 15 years.
Please join friends and family at 1:00 on November 11 at Providence Presbyterian (5497 Providence Road in Virginia Beach) for a celebration of Louann's light and life.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
Her eulogy and more photos will be posted here following the service.
