MRS. EFFIE A. BUCKLEY
Mrs. Effie Armstrong Buckley died at her home in Stoneboro early today following a lingering illness. She was 83.
A daughter of Warren and Margaret McClelland Armstrong, she was born in Mercer County, April 15, 1874, and had lived in the county most of her life.
In 1896 she was married to William Earl Buckley, who died in 1931. Mrs. Buckley was a member of the Church of God, Stoneboro.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Jessie) Kilgore, R. D. 1, Stoneboro, Mrs. S. L. (Margaret) Black, R. D. 3, Grove City and Miss Mabel Buckley, at home; three sons, Leroy of R. D. 3, Grove City, Walter, Grove City, and Paul of Mercer; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Regis, Stoneboro, and Mrs. Hazel Stephenson, Youngstown; a brother Walter Armstrong, Mercer; 20 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Another son, Floyd, preceded her in death.
Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Sandy Lake Twp., Mercer Co., PA.
