CHARLES W. PERRINE
Charles W. Perrine, 71, of Mercer-st, Sandy Lake, died yesterday in Warren Pa., of a cerebral hemorrhage.
Born in Sandy Lake-tp, Nov. 5, 1874, he was the son of Daniel and Elizabeth Frost Perrine. He spent his entire life in the community, and in 1900 was married to Hester Jones Glenn. His early life was spent as a farmer, and he later had interests in a Sandy Lake mill. For 20 years he owned and operated the Sandy Lake theater, which he built. He was affiliated with the Methodist church, attended the Volant schools, and was a member of the Sandy Lake I.O.O.F.
Surviving are his wife; three children, Theodore, Sandy Lake; Mrs. Mary McQuaid, Hazleton, Pa., and Mrs. Louise Force, Sandy Lake; four grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Lottie Watson, of New Haven, Conn.
