Stanley John Kieras was the son of Jan or Joannes Kieras (a farmer) and Zofia Kleszcz of Róza, Poland. He was baptized Aug. 7, 1890 in Róża, Rzeszów, Poland per Catholic records from Tarnow Parish (one year discrepancy from other records.)

Latin Translation: Stanislaus legitimate son of Joannis Kieras a farmer s. Adalberti & Hedvigis born Pych: Sophia daughter of Adam Kleszcz a farmer & Maria born Watega.

He immigrated July 31, 1909 from Hamburg, Germany (port), on Kaiserin Auguste Victoria to the port of New York.
