MRS. POLLY A. NEWTON
DIES AT ARDEN
Mrs. Polly Ann Newton died at her home at Arden, Friday, November 27, at the age of 71 years and her remains were laid to rest the following day in the Arden cemetery, after funeral services were conducted by Rev. Hale.
Mrs. Newton was a member of the Christian church, having professed her faith in Christ at an early age and lived faithful to the cause ever since until death.
She resided in Seymour about 40 years ago. She was the mother of J. P. Newton of Seymour, D. A. Newton of near Arden, Rev. J. W. Newton of Arno, Ezra and L. D. Newton of Indiana and C. A. Newton of Kansas City.
J. P. and D. A. Newton were with her at the time of her death.
