My grandfather was a safety director with Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company for 22 years. When he came to Iowa only four Farm Bureaus had a safey department and he helped increase that to more than 20. I am so very proud of him.
"God hath not promised skies always blue, Flower-strewn pathways all our lives through; God hath not promised sun without rain, join without sorrow, peace without pain.
But God hath promised strength for the day, rest for the labor. Light for the way, grace for the trials. Help from above, unfailing sympathy; undying love."
Hymn: "What God Hath Promised"
Words: Annie J Flint
Music: William M Runyan
This was my grandfather.
