Floyd E. Ollison, 95, of Blytheville, Arkansas, died Sunday November, 19, 2023 at N.E.A. Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Floyd was born in Wynne, Arkansas to Lewis and Mattie Wells Ollison. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII and he was a member of the American Legion and V.F.W. One of his favorite hobbies was shooting pool. Floyd worked at the Blytheville Courier News for 13 years and retired after working for the Commercial Appeal for 30 years.

In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Ollison.

Floyd is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Copeland Ollison; one son, Gary Ollison, of Earle, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Cathy Carter, Scotty White, Brandon Ollison, Christina Fraser; three great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the Memorial Park Cemetery with Billy Hollifield officiating.
