Mrs. Sallie Ann Kase died at the home of her son Charles Sunday night last after a brief illness. She was born in Hunterdon County NJ 10/2/1812, she was 76 years & 18 days old. In 1830 she married George Kase & in 1840 they moved to Danville Pa living there until 1843 when they moved to Lewis Twp now McEntire Twp. They lived there until the death of her husband. She then located in Crescent & lived there several years.
They had 11 children: William G Kase of Milton, Diana G wife of William Ball of Hepburn twp, Alba B of Hepburn twp, Elizabeth wife of H G Heylmun of Washington DC, George of Bellefonte, Sadie M wife of Willard M Dietrick of Williamsport, Isabella K wife of W T Fitzgerald of Bellefonte, Charles H of Bellefonte & Alice G of Williamsport.
The Bellefonte News in announcing her death that since her sons live in Bellefonte that she enjoys visiting her children.
Her illness was very brief & was caused by blood poisoning. Her remains were interred in Wildwood Cemetery.
