Died, Sunday, November 16, 1902, Charles M. Trimmell, aged 40 years. He leaves 3 children, the oldest a boy of about 18 years and the youngest a girl 13 years of age. His wife died about 8 years ago and he raised his family from childhood. Four years ago Mr. Trimmell was attacked with consumption, which he died of. He was a good-hearted, sociable kind of man and liked by all who knew him. He was an Illinois boy. Burial was made in the Greathouse cemetery on Monday, a large number of friends attending. John Trimmell, of New Albany, father of the deceased, and Peter Trimmell, of Morehead; Dick Trimmell, of Cherryvale, and George Trimmell, of Oswego, his brothers, were present at the funeral.

Gravesite Details

Charles is listed on the double headstone for Lizzie, his wife, noting that his burial was in the Trimmell Greathouse Cemetery. All three of their children are also memorialized on the back of Lizzie's headstone.
