Alexander E. Jackson, Jr. "Animal" age 51, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2008 in hospice care. Alex was born November 7, 1956 to the late Alexander and Rose Jackson. He grew up in Levittown, PA then moved to North Carolina and finally resided in Pensacola, FL. In Alex's leisure time he enjoyed working on cars, fishing, playing cards, watching NASCAR, his pets Chucky and Amy and spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed as a loving father, brother, uncle, neighbor and friend.
Alex is survived by his daughter Amyrose Jackson of Trevose, PA. He is also the brother to his late sister Barbara and her husband Larry Coates of Cantonment, FL and Ellen and husband Kenneth Hodges of Levittown, PA and Rosie and her husband J.D. Dennis of Bradenton, FL and Linda and her husband Jim Thorthon of Jacksonville, NC and his numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Pensacola Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North-Cantonment on Monday, April 21, 2008 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Faith Chapel Funeral Home North 1000 Highway 29 South Cantonment is in charge of arrangements.
