Kendall had worked as a Quality Control Inspector for Plessey Midwest for over 35 years.

Kendall was born on August 21, 1932 in rural Milan, KS to Bert Brundage and Bertha A. (Pearce) Brundage. He was raised in the Milan and Argonia area and was a graduate of Argonia High School.

He was a life time farmer, a devout Christian, and a loving family man who was always kind, gentle and caring. He enjoyed spending time with his family and gardening.

He married Patricia A. Landreth on December 28, 1955 in Wellington.

Melvin "Kendall" Brundage, age 90, of rural Argonia, KS, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away at Wellington, Kansas Health and Rehab on October 2, 2022.

Kendall was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Irvin and Elden; and three sisters, Nina, Norma, and Merlene; and one grandson, David Hayward.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 66 years, Patricia Brundage of Argonia, KS; son, David Brundage of Conway Springs, KS; two daughters, Julie Janson and her husband Steven of Kingman, KS and Kathy Hayward and her husband Roger of Winfield, KS; brother, Alan Brundage and his wife Kathy of Argonia, KS; sister, Nelda Floyd of Littleton, CO; eight grandchildren, Adam Petrowsky, Andrea Miller, Michael Evans, Paul Evans, Melaine Hayward, Michelle Pendergraft, Houston Hayward, and Morgan Faulconer; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces, and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Church of Christ. Mr. Wes LeFlore and Chaplain Wendell Skinner will officiate. A private family burial will be held prior to the service.

Visitation will be held at Frank Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 1:00 – 7:00 P.M. The family will be present to greet friends from 5:00 – 6:00 P.M.

Memorials have been established with the Carpenter Place and the Wellington Church of Christ in lieu of flowers.

Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
