Their children are Juanita Pauline, Richard Eugene, Edward Paul, Constance Ellen, Francis Leroy and Paul Leon. John Cruit Maxwell (son of Clara Viola Maxwell's brother: Henry Morgan Maxwell) nicknamed his aunt Viola and uncle Paul "Mithers and Fithers". The family's reunions are called Mithers and Fithers.
