A funeral service for Russell White, 68, is scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville with Bro. Paul Smith officiating. Visitation will begin on Monday, November 27, 2023, and family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. He will be laid to rest at Tecula Cemetery in Jacksonville.
He was born on May 3, 1955, to Homer and Alta Mae White and went to be with the Lord on November 22, 2023. Russell was a member of Life Recovery Church in Jacksonville. He loved spending time with his family and having coffee with friends at Whataburger. He enjoyed traveling alongside his wife, Kathey.
Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Alta Mae White.
Left to cherish Russell's memory are his loving wife of 27 years, Kathey White of Jacksonville; daughters, Sharla Phillips of Whitehouse, Megan Morris and husband Thumper of Jacksonville, Tena Perry of Longview, and Sarah White of Troup; sister, Sherry Tracy Katz and husband Sanford "Sandy" of Colorado; sisters-in-law, Diann Sides of Jacksonville, Donna Fernandes and husband Mickel of Nacogdoches, and Barbara Chamberlain of Lufkin. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jesse, Justus, Colton, Katee, Kylie, Brandyn, Jayce, and Kellcey; great grandson, Braylon; niece, Natasha Wood; and nephew, Shane Tracy.
