Emily Isabella (Fisher) Greear was the daughter of Alvan Bennett Fisher and Julia Amanda (Heywood) Fisher. Emily married Patrick Henry Greear on Feb. 21, 1906, in Chicago, Ill. They had one daughter together, actress Joan Barclay, who was also known as both Geraine Greear and Mary Elizabeth (Greear) Hillman-Sullivan.
GREEAR — Emily Greear, 78, of 2122 Beachwood Terrace, Los Angeles, died yesterday (April 29, 1948). She was a native of Massachusetts and lived here 20 years. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Joan Hillman, and a nephew, Alvin Fisher. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 1 p.m. at Pierce Bros. Hollywood Mortuary. Interment will be at Inglewood Park Cemetery.
