SYBLE JUANITA PARKER 77, long time resident of Pahokee, Florida, went to be with the Lord on March 15, 2004. The daughter of Lauten Edward Carver and Arrie Juanita Hammonds, she was born on April 30, 1926 in Miami, Florida. She was predeceased by her mother and father and her brother Joe Kirksie Carver. She is survived by her loving husband, Walter, to whom she was married over 60 years. Also, surviving are her adoring children, Patricia and Spooner Haggins of Belle Glade, Florida, Walter and Linda Parker of Clewiston, Florida, Jo Ann and Ronnie Lairsey of Canal Point, Florida, Jerry and Mary Parker of Stuart, Florida, Michael and Janice Parker of San Angelo, Texas, Mardi McMahon of Wellington, Florida, and Teresa Barbian of San Angelo, Texas. In addition, she leaves 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly. She loved to crochet and earned many ribbons and awards from the Palm Beach and Hendry County Fairs. Her happiest times were on holidays when she had a houseful of friends and relatives to feed. Pallbearers will be grandsons Buddy Haggins, Robbie Haggins, Johnny Parker, Sean Stowe, Billy Hand and Billy Brewer. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at the GLADES FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL in Belle Glade, Florida from 6PM-8PM. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 18, 2004 at the Canal Point Baptist Church at 10:30 AM. Burial to follow at the Port Mayaca Cemetery.
