Linda M. (Gobbi) Abramek, 75, passed away peacefully Monday, November 6, 2023, in Milford Regional Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Edward T. Abramek of Woonsocket.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Arrigo "Rico" and Emily (Verni) Gobbi.
Linda worked in Human Resources at Flock Tex, Inc. in Woonsocket and also for the US Army Natick Labs.
She was a member of the Italian Workingmen's Club Ladies Auxiliary and was the Social Director of Beach Place. She was also one of the founding members of Save Our Sports. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, with whom she shared a special bond. She loved hosting weekly family dinners and sleepovers with her grandchildren. She was a talented artist and a gifted cook. She also enjoyed traveling, visiting Disney, skiing, watching the New England Patriots, hosting parties, and spending winters in Longboat Key, FL.
