Born in Providence, a son of the late Howard E. and Nellie (Murray) Eagleston , he moved to Aiken in 1991 from Barrington.
He graduated from Indiana University in 1949 and was a graduate of the Indiana executive program of the Graduate School of Business, Indiana University. He was a member of the board of directors of the Industrial Fabric Association International and a consultant with the Bruin Mfg. Co.
He was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Church, Aiken, and a former member of St. Luke Church, Barrington.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, John C. Eagleston of Indianapolis, Ind., and a daughter, Marianne Eagleston of Franklin, Mass.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Mary Help of Christians Church, Aiken. Burial was in St. Francis Cemetery, South Kingstown.
