Alexander Frye died Sunday afternoon at his home 15 miles southeast of town, at the age of 68.
He is survived by the widow, one daughter, Mrs. Ora Deckard and six sons, Elisha Frye of Stinesville, and Edward, Marshall, Silas, Dillon and Elmer, all of this county.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 at the Burgoon cemetery, in charge of Rev. Sexton.

Suggested edit: Hello: edit being sent for mother of Alexander Frye/Fry. Info from his Indiana death certificate on Ancestry. Says father was Andrew Fry and mother Miss Bales. I found an obituary for Mrs. Elizabeth Brownfield, 90 years old in the Brown County Democrat, published on November 29, 1923, page 1. Her first husband was Andrew Fry (deceased) and second husband John Brownsfield (deceased). She died on November 23, 1923. Surviving children were: Mrs. Mary Young Sarah Butcher and Emma Johnson of Monroe County; Wm Frye of Terre Huate (I manage that memorial and his IN DC says mother was Elizabeth Bales); Alex Frye of Monroe County and Perry Brownsfield of East Columbus. I'm still trying to figure out Andrew Frye or Fry - there are several! Hope you'll accept the edit and thanks.
