Mr. Geo. W. Mills was born in 1871 near Mena, Arkansas, and departed this life November 1, 1940. Mr. Mills was married to Miss Nina Payne on February 17, 1903, at Enterprise, Oklahoma, and to this union were born 11 children, eight of whom survive. Mr. Mills was converted October 13, 1940. Those left to mourn his passing are his widow, Mrs. Geo. W. Mills, Mrs. L.A. Prince of Amarillo, Texas, Mrs. Milo Taylor of Needles, Calif., Mrs. Otis Harris of Poteau, Mrs. Eldon F. Beer, Miss Mildred Mills and Jackie Helen Mills all of Amarillo, Texas and Billie and George Mills of the home. Rev. Sherman Kilpatrick conducted the funeral, assisted by Rev. G.E. Swain and Sister Schrater. Mallory Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Quinton Cemetery.
