John R. Druschel, 51, of Camp Hill, formerly of Greensburg and Indiana, died Friday, Aug. 19, 2005, in West Chester. He was born March 9, 1954, in Ellwood City, a son of Alberta Householder Druschel, of Greensburg, and the late Albert E. Druschel. John had been a member of the First Lutheran Church of Greensburg. He was currently a self-employed registered nurse. Before moving to Indiana and Camp Hill, he had been employed by Mutual Aid Ambulance Service and by Pittsburgh E.M.S. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Janice Shaffer Druschel; two sons, John Paul Druschel and his wife, Jennifer, of New Salem, and Jason Alan Druschel, of Camp Hill; a grandson, Aidan Druschel; three brothers, Rodney E. Druschel and his wife, Susan, of Summerville, S.C., Richard D. Druschel and his wife, Pamela, of Greensburg, and William A. Druschel and his wife, Mary Pat, of Springfield, Va.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the First Lutheran Church, 246 S. Main St., Greensburg, with the Rev. E. Allen Scanlon officiating. Private interment will be in St. Clair Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, should friends desire, memorials may be placed with the First Lutheran Church, Greensburg.
