age 88, passed away July 30, 2020. Frank Leonetti, Jr. died at his home in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Frank, also known to family as Sonny, was the son of Frank and Adeline Leonetti (Napoli). He grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio, where he was an elite athlete at Shaker Heights High School. His love of sports included golf and being a lifelong fan of the Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Browns. He earned both undergraduate and law degrees from Western Reserve University. Upon graduation, he joined his father in the practice of law. He was a practicing attorney for over 40 years in Cleveland, Ohio, first with his father and later with his brother, Albert. Frank was an accomplished golfer and a member of Shaker Heights Country Club and BallenIsles Country Club in Florida. Frank raised his family in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, where he lived for over 40 years. He enjoyed traveling and, with his wife Elizabeth, traveled widely. He especially enjoyed their trips to Las Vegas. Upon his retirement, in the early 2000s, they made their home in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Frank is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Janus); his three children, Frank Leonetti III (Pamela), C. Eric Leonetti (Brigid), and Jill Spina (Kevin) from his first marriage to Phyllis Faber Leonetti (deceased); two stepchildren, Jennifer McElhannon (Chris) and Christopher Skinner (Erica Ruettimann); 11 grandchildren, Austin (Steve); McKenna and Jackson (Shannon); Emma, Nicholas, and Grace; Sabrina, Noah, Aidan, Alex, and Mallory; and one great-grandchild, Beckham; his sister, Ann Pokorny (Donald) and his brother, Albert (Ruth Anna Carlson). The time and place of a memorial service will be announced at a later date. The Salvation Army is suggested for those wishing to make a donation.
