Harold A. Latham, 90, of Binghamton, died Thursday evening, August 25, 1988 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Carbondale, Penn.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Latham, Binghamton; one daughter and son-in-law, Judith C. and Ronald G. Lawrence, Rochester; two granddaughters, Kristine Lawrence, ; Rochester, Kimberly Lawrence, Binghamton.
He was a retiree of the United Shoe Machinery Corporation of Binghamton. He was a long time member of the Binghamton Rotary Club and was instrumental in the founding of the Sheltered Workshop.
He was a veteran of I World War I.
Funeral services will be held Monday at the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home, Inc., 71 Main St., Binghamton. Rev. Thomas Haefield Mordan, of the High Street United Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Veteran's of Foreign Wars Hospital Fund, care of the VFW Post #478, 65 Carroll St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13901 or to the American Lung Association of Mid-New York, 130 Main. St., Johnson City, N.Y. 13790.
