Ringo was born on October 24, 1947, in Manitowoc, son of the late Edward and Dorothy (Erickson) Lasch. He grew up in Manitowoc and graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School in 1966 and later received an associate degree in marketing. He served in the United States Army from January 9, 1968, until his honorable discharge December 12, 1969. Ringo owned and operated Ringo's Tavern in Two Rivers for many years. On August 12, 2000, Ringo married Linda A. Strauss in Two Rivers. Ringo enjoyed the WWE, the Green Bay Packers, and the Wisconsin Badgers. He was a member of the Tavern League of Wisconsin, and a former member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #731 of Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife: Linda Strauss, Athelstane; his two loving daughters with the late Theresa (Zais) Pribek: Shelly (Tim) Mueller, Silver Cliff and Kim (Adam) Harrell, Kewaunee; Lisa Zais (Emilio Castro) who Ringo considered another daughter; six grandchildren: Bailey Mueller and his special friend Alex, very special granddaughter Brianna Mueller and her special friend Riley, Dane Harrell, Bennett Harrell, London Zais Main, and Kinsley Castro; one brother and sister-in-law: Donald (Sandra) Lasch; two sisters: Sue Boldt and Lori LaRocque- her special friend Claude; two special friends: Glenn Thorn and Jean "Dubs" Shaum; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Edward and Dorothy Lasch.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, December 8, 2023, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th St, Manitowoc. Burial of his cremated remains will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Manitowoc with the Vietnam Veteran's Chapter #731 providing the Military Honors. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11:30 AM until the time of service at 1:30 PM.
