Adelfa Maria Mirabueno Acha
JUNE 14, 1970 – NOVEMBER 28, 2023

Adelfa Maria Mirabueno Acha (Adelle) was born on June 14, 1970 in Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur, Philippines. She peacefully passed away on November 28, 2023, in Houston, Texas with her husband by her side. She was only 53 years of age.

Adelle studied Nursing at Misamis University in the Philippines. After earning her Bachelor's Degree, she and her husband Fernando moved to Saudi Arabia where she worked at King Abdul Aziz University Hospital as a nurse in 1990. After 16 years of diligent service, she then moved to Singapore to work at Raffles Hospital in 2006. During all this time, while working hard to provide, she envisioned her family settling in America altogether. After completing further education and a very lengthy process with immigration, she successfully brought her family of five to Union City, New Jersey in 2012 where she continued to work at Regent Care Center until 2019. She then found better opportunities in Houston, Texas where she worked at Memorial Hermann Hospital, purchased a home, and settled down.

Adelle is survived by her loving husband Nandy Acha, her sister Nicevelyn, her brother Arnold, her eldest daughter Grace, her two sons Fernando Jr. and Frend and many extended family members and loyal friends. Adelle was predeceased by her father Nicanor Mirabueno, her mother Evelyn Mirabueno, and her brother George Mirabueno. Nandy and Adelle originally met in Molave and they have been together for 33 years through thick and thin.

Throughout her life, Adelle always delivered smiles and laughs everywhere she went with her clever and witty jokes. She loved spreading positivity and joy with her musical passion. Adelle was a devoted christian with unwavering faith. She will be remembered as a faithful and loving mother.
