Nettleton--Billy Wayne Wildman passed away December 2, 2023 at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice Unit just eight days shy of his 90th birthday. Born December 10, 1933 in Ripley, Mississippi, Billy was the son of William Wildman and Lilie Mae Reynolds. Always a man with a strong work ethic, he worked as a painter for Cook and Riley from 1951 until his retirement in 2006. He also had a sense of adventure and loved driving his race car. When he was not racing, he could be found driving his beloved Bronco. Billy enjoyed being outdoors whenever possible and is remembered as a great hunter and fisherman.

Billy leaves behind two children, Jerry Wildman (Angie), of Saltillo, and Dianne Wildman (Cathy) of Shannon; three grandchildren, Brad Wildman, Jerry Wildman Jr., and Brandy Wildman; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and special family friend, Missy Wilemon

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Wildman and Lilie Reynolds; his wife of 61 years, Harriett Wildman; a daughter, Billie Jo Wildman; grandson, Corey Matthew Wilemon, sister, Dorothy Hester; and a brother, Buddy Wildman.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Pegues, Tupelo. Services honoring Billy's memory will be 12 p.m. Tuesday at the Jefferson Street Chapel with Rev. Matt Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Grays Cemetery.
