Benza H. Axsom, 96, of Bloomington, died Saturday at Hoosier Hills Health Care.
Born Sept. 13, 1902, in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Steve and Nancy (Cope) Hillenburg.
Member of Blackwell Pentecost Church.
Survivors include:
1 son, James H. Todd of Bloomington;
2 daughters, Marie Stancombe of Bedford and Carolyn J. Axsom of Bloomington;
12 grandchildren
15 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by:
Husband, Rayman Axsom;
1 son;
2 brothers;
5 sisters;
1 grandson.
Services at Jones Funeral Home in Heltonville with Brother Hershel Axsom officiating.
Burial will be at Todd Cemetery.
