John P. Ladd, born February 25th, 1934, passed away from natural causes on April 16th, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dwight and Gertrude Ladd; two sisters, Barbara A. Lulfs and Nancy E. Bullock and a brother, William A. Ladd; his wife Billy Jo Ladd, son Scott Lyons, and daughter Jana C. Stjernholm.
John retired from the Dallas Morning News after a long career serving in the distribution department. He proudly served in the Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. John enjoyed playing slot machines and dancing the night away with his wife, Billy Jo. His favorite memories were the family vacations to Galveston, TX.
